The price dropped 300 on the w500. So i am going to call up and cancel my order. But should i save the 300 or get something else for the laptop. Should i get the 2.8ghz processor or 4gb ram off the bat or get it later? What should i do please help

For one...unless you do a lot of intense computing, even a 1.8GHz-2.0GHz processor is fine. RAM is plentiful and cheap on NewEgg, so buy that there as most laptop vendors OVERPRICE their RAM upgrades.

Invest in a better GPU if you play games, a higher quality or higher resolution screen, more hard drive space, or other components that are cheaper to order from the start or cannot be upgraded later!
