    Greetings Everyone!
I'm curious to know what upgrades you've done to your Thinkpad?

    On my T61 14.1 SXGA+
    1.)I just added Kingston 1GB 200-Pin DDR2 SO-DIMM DDR2 667 to have a total of 2gb of RAM
2.) Just ordered a HITACHI Travelstar 7K200 200gb to replace the stock 80gb HD 5400rpm

I added 4GB of RAM, a 4GB Sandisk Extreme III SD Card (ReadyBoost), and a 250GB Hitachi 5400 HD. I picked up a new AC adapter for my my office and I am contemplating a 6 cell flush mount battery.

If you do a HD upgrade is there anyway to clone the old hardrive, I like having the factory restore.

Depending on the version of Vista you have you may be able to use complete pc backup. If not, then you may need a third party app such as Norton Ghost or Acronis True Image to Clone the drive. From what I hear the Acronis app is available as a 30 day free trial.
