Find your version (at least in XP) here:

Start > Programs > Pcdoctor 5 for Windows > System Reports > System Information

    Okay, you deadbeats.

FYI, if you do diagnostics on your hardware in the partition, you may get an SMBIOS standards test failure. And you may get a report of the CPU multicore being misconfigured.

    Ignore it.

Supervisor from support called me back today to say he checked with the PCdoctor people and they said the SMBIOS test failing is not important (I still don't know if the same version appears on everyone's T61 because nobody responded to this poll).

Three or four different support people at Lenovo had originally told me I had to return my machine because of the SMBIOS failure. They seemed to be confusing it with the bios.

I had been trying to track down whether or not the SMBIOS version had something to do with it by trying to find out if we all had the same version or if some of you had more uptodate versions.

The test T61 they used had the same error messages mine had.

Now their support personnel should be aware that this info is not meaningful and should not be acted on.

My T61 was in their repair depot for 23 days (this and other non-technical problems). I sure as heck did not want to send my machine back unless they verified it was having problems. Now I know it's okay (worked fine, just failed the tests).
