    Hi everyone

    I plan to buy a X61 but I am in no rush so I want to buy it when it's at its best deal. With Dell, I will know it's a good time to buy when they offer one of those 35% or 40% off coupon. With Lenovo, when's a good time? 25% off or up to $500 off (now)? I do have EPP but would like to take advantage of ongoing deal.

    Hard to predict. I got 38% (35% + 13.3.%) ten days ago on the T61p.

    If you read the threads on pricing.....you will get an idea how often the sales occur....and what other coupons are available (paypal, fatwallet) on top of the core discounts.

    Yes...sorry...25% + 13.3%. I have been retired too long....can't add anymore.

    One of the discounts was for the T model. The second was the holiday discount if I remember correctly.

    It was hard to turn down.....do i didn't.

    Um, best deal would be a little while ago

    the above mentioned 38% (35% + 13.3% coupon code), bought through fat wallet (10% cashback) and using paypal, $100 back on orders over $900
