I've been using ATP class 6 SDHC for ready bosst, but I feel that it's little slow... I actually feel that my pc can run faster with out ready boost than with my sd. I'm wondering if I could improve the speed with changing my card?

How much memory do you have?

Ready boost's gains are marginal and then only is systems with small phsyical memories.

I plugged in an external hard drive in to my t60p and it asked me if I wanted to use it for ready boost......just a thought.

SDHC Class 6 is slow but it is the fastest as of right now.

Panasonic recently came out with SDHC cards that write at about 22mbps. Supposed to be the fastest Class 6 and are recommended for portable HD camcorders that use the AVCHD file. They are expensive. Not nearly as fast as SSD technology.

If you want fast get a SSD.

    They are expensive too.

32GB Panasonic Class 6 SDHC is priced over $400. Not sure if it is available yet. For that kind of money it is much wiser to get a SSD.

Amazon.com has a good deal on the 8GB Panasonic SDHC class 6. About $70. About %50 off.

I recently bought a 8GB ADATA Class 6 SDHC for a HD Panasonic SD9 Camcorder and it works very well. Newegg sells ADATA SDHC cheap.

    Hi.

I have my panasonic HS9 working with a "2GB sandisk Wii standard SD card" not a SDHC card.

I have it set at the second highest bitrate 13 mbps

I only get 20min, but i am really supprised the Wii card works at all!

    Regards

    John.

is there a link where I could compare all the SDHCs' speed?? Those class doesn't mean anything since the minimum is 6mbps, and some cards are advertised as almost 20mbps.... there must be some review and comparison of all the SDHC. I just can't find it...

I havn't come across any recent "3rd party" benchmark test reports done on the new Panasonic cards.

The ADATA works very well for doing AVCHD files on HD camcorders.

That is cool. Is the file a AVCHD file?

Does the Wii play AVCHD files?

    I have a PS3.

I have a Panasonic SD9 and it works great with the 8GB ADATA SDHC card. The SD9 will render 17MBPS AVCHD files.

With it I can film then pop the SDHC card directly into a Play Station 3 and watch the AVCHD file render at 17MBPS. Does exactly what it is supposed to do. Works great.

    Hi.

I dont have a Wii, I just bought the Wii version because i thought it might be faster than the standard Sandisc SD cards.

Yes it records in AVCHD and i can play them back on my PS3, the picture quality is fantastic.

I just pop the SD card in slot on the PS3!

I am very supprised that my Wii SD card is able to write at 13 mbps.

I can record at 17 mbps, but i think that would be pushing it!

    Regards

    John.
