Okay, so I have been researching this quite a bit and I keep hearing different stories about adding bluetooth to z60t. So basically if I want my machine to have fully functioning bluetooth with LED's and everything, I need to get
    1. The daughter card
    2. The LCD faceplate
    3. The LCD cable

Do I need anything else? Lets say I don't care about the LED's, can I just add the card? Is there anything else to it? Also can someone tell me, does this or doesn't it void the warranty? THANK YOU

Also does anyone have a video or installation instructions?

Probably should ask Lenovo about the warranty. Anytime you have to open the case you are in murky water. Could just get a Bluetooth dongle.

    hey dougw03

funny how im in a similar situation as i also just received my z61t and realized what an idiot i was to overlook bluetooth as an option. i'm also trying to figure out if i can get this internal bluetooth adapter installed through either lenovo themselves or some 3rd party authorized repair center. i tried calling lenovo support earlier tonight and was on the phone with their tech support rep for 30min. the lady there somehow believed that my system has always had bluetooth and that all i need to do is install some drive and voila! problem fixed. of course this was not the case and i'm now back at the problem at hand w/o a solution. she finally referred me to some 888-shop-ibm number. i'm not so sure the people there can help me out.

**** it i really should've looked over everything before clicking that add to cart button. now it looks like a solution to the problem is nowhere to be found.
