I have been waiting, like a lot of people, to get a T61(p) with 15.4" and nVidia video card. I've been reading about so many problems with shipping delays and now I'm starting to discover lot's of stability issues. I was just reading multiple threads over on the thinkpad forum: http://forum.thinkpads.com/viewforum.php?f=29&sid=a5944dfe43be8457f2ae930debd67ed5

It seems like way to many people are getting the BSOD with the T61 14.1" model. I've read through the threads and some have been able to fix the problem on their machine, but what works on one machine doesn't necessarily fix another.

I'm really having second thoughts about the T61!!!

has something to do with turbo memory, they recommend you disable turbo memory until new drivers are released.

All the accounts I have seen are just a driver issue or OS install issue.

Most have easily been resolved by doing a fresh install of Vista, XP, or whatever OS is on there.

I haven't had a single BSOD since I got my T61 over a week ago.
