I am going to buy a Lenovo T500 for the upcoming school year for college, and i was wondering when the best itme to order it is. I have noticed that there is already a student discount out there, but will there be any other bigger discounts to come?

    Thanks.

I think it was even 30%. Select models where 15% and then the coupon code was an additional 15%.

They are rarely if ever updated. Just keep checking the Lenovo website.

In general, the student discount is poor, and you can find much better deals regularly.

I heard intel will cut mobile processor prices this month. there may be a drop due to that, or you might cash in on a better proc

the student discount is far from poor. I have configured a 1600x1050 screen, 2 gb ram, p8600, thinkpad bgn, dvd rw, dedicated gfx t500 for under $800 last month, still have the quote saved.
    it was under exclusive deals
I would suggest don't pay more than 900 for a similar spec.

best way is to sign up for their newsletter. They blast out newsletter whenever they have discounts going.
