Anyway, you can take a look here: http://www.lenovoblogs.com/insidethebox/?p=96 -
or you think there will be better ssd for t? -
SSD is so expensive...and the capacity is also limited at the moment.

You can find info on SSDs on my reviews below if interested...pricing is also discussed in the forums that follow.

No definite answer, but an interesting article nonetheless.
I personally think that SSDs will soon be introduced to ThinkPads. -
Sorry I was being sarcastic. Will be nice when prices do come down.

I actually saw the SSD 60gb being offered for like $600 extra 3 weeks back...it has since dissapeared
-
I called lenovo today.... the sales person didn't know what SSD is, not did he know what flash drive is nor did he know what Solid state drive is.
Grrr..............

When SSDs exceed 80gb then you'll find them everywhere
-
60GB is enough (if not plenty) for most uses.
-
But its big enough for a bootdisk with an O/S on it.

it depends on what products you have. My OS plus layered products requires 30 GB. I keep my system partition at 100 GB. Then I have a number of other partitions and code. I wouldn't want an SSD with much less than 160 GB.
My desktop uses 15K rpm server disks and real estate on them is expensive. They are each 140 gb. They have lots of reserve space on them and I value them because they are fast and do have more room than I need because that will give my system room to grow. I could live with 140 GB but I don't like to begin with a limited system.
