    Hi Everyone,

    I'm in Canada now, and I want to buy the W530 this year, but not in any hurry.
    So I would like to know when the W530 will be at a substantial discount in Canada this year. Waiting for suggestions. :D

    If you're looking for the performance of the W530, the W520 has pretty much most of the performance of an equally-equipped W530. Ivy Bridge processors aren't much better than Sandy Bridge when it comes to raw CPU power, and the GPUs aren't all that different from the previous-gen GPUs, performance-wise. And the W520 is already at a nice discount.

    You can move to the US, get a US permanent address, get a US credit card that is linked to your shipping address, then shop at Lenovo outlet.

    Or you can use a forwarder service while shopping at Lenovo outlet.

    Or you can wait for deep discounts on Lenovo Canada website just before the new-generation W is released. Last year, it was around May. It might be August this year, though.
