When your T6x was shipped from China

How long did it take before it was delivered? My T61 showed that it was shipped on Saturday at 7:30 PM from SHENZHEN, CN, but the estimated delivery date hasn't been updated as yet? Can anyone give me an idea as to when I might expect it?

 

Mine shipped on a saturday, delivered on tuesday 10 days later.

 

10 days? wow... are in the U.S.?

 

Lenovo shipped my T60p Friday by UPS Express from Hong Kong, China and it will be delivered to me in Memphis, TN in the morning. So, delivery from Hong Kong to Memphis, TN requires only one business day for delivery! View the UPS Express tracking.

So, if you are in Memphis, you should get your package in the morning too.

 

Mine just took a couple of days once it shipped. Took about a month to actually ship though. Been in heaven ever since it got here though. Worth the wait for a top notch product.

 

Cool.. So I can expect possibly as early as Tuesday sometime? I take it that they require that you sign for it correct? Trying to decide if I need to plan to work from home one day.

 

My T60p was shipped Wednesday 5/20, was out for delivery Friday 5/22. Of course I wasn't home at 10:30 am so I called to have them hold it for me to pick up that night, and they managed to lose the package in their shipping center. Hopefully they find it Monday and I can pick it up.

ciphermonk, did they ship your laptop with express service? mine that shipped on 6/23 only came with the expedited service (about 2-3 bus. longer delivery).

I would probably guess that it will be here the later part of the week. Try going to the UPS website and doing a time in transit quote. The Shenzen, CN zipcode is 200000.

 

Is the delivery date later than listed on the initial UPS shipping notice estimate?

Hi I ordered the T61 on 06/17 and it shipped today.....

It shows Shipment type: UPS Ground....does it mean its Ups ground or is there a chance it might be expedited shipping

 

shipped out from HK, China on Friday, arrived in front of my house in North America Monday Morning @ approx. 9 am.

unfortunately, I was out of town for training that week. so UPS held it for five days..

 

That's encouraging han405. I suppose I'll be able to call UPS in the morning and see if they can give me an idea as to when it'll show up.

 

Tracking info was just updated....its through Express service......wow I didnt expect my order to ship so soon.....I am impressed

My order is stuck. How long is the shipment held at customs?
Also does anyone know why the Laptop came to US on the 20th and was scanned for departure in China on the 21st..I don't understand this.
