This has been bugging me for a while as I kind of wonder why does Lenovo not use ambient light sensors in their laptops? Nearly every company with a business laptop line has this feature, yet Lenovo doesn't. Anyone know why? Just a curious thought...

I don't like the light sensors. I find them erratic and usually set the screen too dark. I've tried them in HP, Dell, and Apple computers and they all suck to some degree.

For me I really would like to have an ambient light sensor, and I have tried about 5 different brands. They all work pretty well in my sense. I dont really like changing my brightness setting every time im in a different area.

Perhaps, that's the one thing I would add to a thinkpad.
