Once in a while a message would pop up on my screen "Rescue and recovery will back up your files now. Yes? No? (do not show this message again)..." I usually choose No because I have no idea where it's going to back up the files. Today I chose yes, but then nothing seems to be happening. Where are the backup files? It never asked me where I want to save them.

Thanks. What files exactly are backed up? Does it include my personal documents?

More than likely it is backing up your documents in the default setting. It wouldn't be much of a backup if it wasn't saving your important stuff right?

What I want to know is, if ever I need to either send my computer for repair or sell it, how do I find all those back up files so that I can delete them?

Rescue and Recovery is the name of the application.
So go to that application and see what its settings are.
