The SATA Ultrabay adaptor I got didn't come with a second drive cage (the part that screws directly onto the hard drive), so I need to purchase one separately since I have both an SSD and a HDD in my system.

Checked eBay but couldn't find just the drive cage. Anyone know where I can find one of these for a reasonable price?

Not really sure what you are talking about. I have a ultrabay adapter and the drive just goes into the adaptor. Theres nothing to screw on. Are you using a 2.5" HDD?

If you just put the bare drive onto the adaptor, it's a little loose. You're supposed to put the drive into the adaptor with the bit that screws on the drive.

If you take out your HDD bay (the main one, not the ultrabay) and remove the rubber dampers, you'll notice a cage screwed around the HDD. That's the part I'm talking about. It also has a black tab on it so you can pull out the drive from the bay easily.

If you're still wondering, it looks SOMETHING like this, but is metal with holes on the top part:

I never had a problem using with without the cage.

Hmmm, I guess it might be ok. It just worries me that the circuit board on the bottom of the HDD is in direct contact with the metal bottom of the bay, lol.
