I really want to purchase a Lenovo Z50-80EC000TUS, because it seems like a great budget gaming laptop.

However, before I can buy it, I need to know where to find its online tech support downloads in case something goes wrong, particularly its drivers and service manual PDF.

Unfortunately, I cannot find any tech support pages or downloads anywhere on the official Lenovo website, and I'm having trouble finding them elsewhere on the internet, which really worries me. I'm hoping that it's just an error on my part, since I'm usually an epic failure at searching the internet in general, which is why I'm asking about here.

I've already tried all the links in the ThinkPad Sticky Thread, but they all go to the official website and none of them have support for the Z50-80EC000TUS model. They have stuff for the Z50-70, Z50-75, and Z70-80 models, but not the Z50-80 models. I've also tried searching these forums for any similar threads, but I couldn't find any, so I finally resorted to starting a new thread asking about it.

Could someone who owns a Lenovo Z50-80EC000TUS or someone who has experience with Lenovo's tech support please tell me where I can download this model's service manual and the latest versions of its drivers?

I really would like to own one myself, but I don't want to be flying blind if something goes wrong and I need to re-install one of its drivers or replace one of its internal components.

I thank anyone in advance for their help.

Looks like Lenovo redesigned its website to hide the driver downloads at some point - you have to go to support (upper right), and go under technical support. The drivers and downloads are there. Took me a while to find it - I don't recall having that issue on HP's site. That said, I don't see anything for that model either.

Thank you, livebriand, you helped me to find how to get to the start page for Lenovo's online support.

After intensifying my search through the internet and on Ebay, I finally managed to find the following information about the Lenovo Z50-80EC000TUS:
It's actually in the Lenovo Z50-75 series of computers.
    80EC is its model name.
Its part numbers are 80EC000TUS and 59426435.
    Its GTINs/UPCs are 00888772139193 and 00888772511463.
I actually got some of this information from the photo of the box the laptop is packaged in, which was on an Ebay item listing page for the laptop. The rest was just from extensive internet searching.

Using all of this information, I was finally able to locate its tech support downloads page, which includes its driver downloads.
Laptops and netbooks :: Lenovo Z Series laptops :: Lenovo Z50 75 - Lenovo Support (US)
    Which includes its service manual:
    http://download.lenovo.com/consumer/mobiles_pub/lenovo_g_z_50_series_hmm.pdf

I hope this helps out anyone else trying to find the support pages for this laptop model. Given how I finally managed to find it through Lenovo's website, I probably could have found it after purchasing the laptop, but I wanted to make sure it was available before purchasing it, just in case. I've had too many bad experiences with the tech support downloads for laptops I've purchased either not being available or disappearing off the face the internet, so I always make sure to get them before buying the laptop, even if I never really need to use them.
