    Where is your Thinkpad made from?

    I ordered a Thinkpad T41 from ibm.com ten days ago and am waiting for its delivery. From the order tracking page, it was shipped from Hongkong. So I guess mine is made in Hongkong. I'm curious whether other Thinkpads are also made from other countries?

    P.S. The UPS screwed up, it shipped the unit to Alaska instead of the IBM warehouse in Colorado. I am still patiently waiting how long it will take to get to my office. :(

    My thinkpad was made in Korea, perhaps the 1st stop or warehouse/distribution center is in Hong kong. I bought mine from newegg as it was cheaper than from IBM direct and it arrived in 2 days ;)

    I got the machine yesterday. Mine was made in China. Everything looks good so far. No fan noise problem noticed (yet).
