    Im looking to buy a nice little laptop for light use/web browsing email, whatever. Ive seen some on ebay for around 300-350, is that the best deal I'll find?

    ebay would be your best choice IMO

    ebay (as said above), but using live.com search 30% cashback on Buy-it-now is probably your best approach.. I see some listed for the range your saying and with the 30% cashback from MS, thats a pretty good deal (I am on an X40 right now and still love it, I am going to upgrade soon to an x301)

    I even see one that still has an IBM warranty on it when I looked quickly..

    I think the X31 night merit consideration due to the faster hard drive, though it is a bit heavier. The X41s drives are slow, unless you're planning on putting a SSD in there. They're also known to be noisy.
