Is here anyone could tell me where to buy a 32bit anytime upgrade DVD?
I want to have a clean installation of my notebook which I bought last month. I followed the post in this forum and ordered an anytime upgrade DVD from CompUSA last month. The second day after I placed the order, I received an email telling me that it has been shipped out. But today is the fourteenth day and I haven't received it. I called the CompUSA and the customer service told me that it hasn't been shipped out and maybe it's because the warehouse doesn’t has the item.
I am very disappointed because I have wasted two weeks waiting for that and got nothing.
I’ll appreciate it very much if someone can tell me other places to buy a 32bit anytime upgrade DVD.
Or could somebody give me a link to a good torrent to download it?
Thank you very much!

When I ordered from CompUSA they shipped to the wrong address, and it took 3 weeks to arrive there. Now I'm waiting for it to get to the right place. Unfortunately you can't get the disc anywhere else and Microsoft won't give you a backup disc without a retail activation key (yours is OEM).
You can probably find a clean unactivated version on bit torrent to downoad and burn to DVD if you have that capability. You'll save $5.39, too. -
Do you know the link to a good torrent file for the disk? You can pm me.
I am not good at searching for such thing. -
I'm on a network with a packetsniffer so I can't use torrents, unfortunately. Still waiting on my disc to arrive for the chance to do a clean install. It's almost been a month..

You can order a disc directly from Microsoft here

Ha it's funny that site exists talk to a Microsoft person and you'd never know.

I had that link on the clean install guide a couple times, but for some reason the link kept getting broken every couple days so I took it off. If I remember correctly it wasn't the easiest link to find either. I'd almost have to write a guide just to help people find that link

I ordered mine from CompUSA on Sept 12. Got an email the very next day saying it had shipped. And I'm still waiting for it now, three weeks later.
I called a rep yesterday and was told it had never shipped at all. In fact, her system didn't even have my online order number. But I had been billed for it, mind you, and now I think I've been billed again, for the replacement disc. They're very good at billing, no question - it's the shipping that seems to be problematic for them!
Kinda annoying all this, since I too haven't bothered installing that much on my new tp as I figured I'd wait till I did the clean install. -
You can ask them for a refund on the disc if they screwed up the shipping, at $5.39 they didn't argue with me.

So I ordered the 32-bit Vista anytime upgrade DVD from the Microsoft site on 10/4. On the 17th, I hadn't received it, so I emailed them. They said they sent another DVD on the 17th and I should expect it in 10 days. So, now it is the 30th and I still haven't received so I called them again. They told me they sent the first one on 10/5, the second one on 10/17, and now again they are sending another one on 10/30....what's up with these guys. Yes, they are using USPS, but it really can't be that slow can it, if they really shipped on the dates they indicated. Oh well, I guess eventually I will have 3 copies. If you need this disc soon, I wouldn't recommend ordering from them.
Where to buy a 32bit anytime upgrade DVD except from CompUSA?
