Ordered a T530 with the low-end screen, and wonder if I can replace it with FDH screen.

However, there is too many compatible screens online with lousy display quality. Where to buy a good 1900 x 1080 screen for T530?

You can replace the stock HD screen with a genuine AUO FHD screen (with the same flat cable). PM me and I'll let you know where to buy.

Don't want to sound mean or anything but can you return it and order the one with the FHD? It would save your warranty and the cost savings might not be too big. Of course, if returns are difficult or if you need the computer then that might be a different story.

Thank you for the reply. I ordered one from outlet with a good price, so I am considering changing the screen if I can find a good one. But it seems it is hard to buy a FDH screen which has a quality on par with the original.

Why? The original panel, AUO B156HW01 V.4, is easy to find on ebay and dedicated sites.

I have search Amazon but it offers some substitute screens, not the original ones. On Ebay, there is no US based vendors which sells this screen.

Could you provide a few links as to the reputable sellers who carry such screen?

    Re: B156HW01
The stream of sell-able brand new B156HW01 V.4 & V.7 has run dry for quite a while - only used pulls and broken pixels are out there.
You can always write support at LS for a comparable LG 1080p panel, but it won't have the 97.5% Gamut.

When will the B156HW01 V.4 be restocked? Can v.7 version be used for T530? Which is better, v.4 or v.7?

Yes. (But the genuine screen is also out-of-stock at most vendors right now.)

I've tried both. I personally prefer the glossy V.7 (which is only subtly glossy and shows more vivid colors).

That question is unfortunately analogous to "When will the Brand New 2008 Ford Explorers will be restocked at my local Ford dealership?"
Since that LCD is no longer manufactured, there is a good chance that it will never be stocked again.

Every version of the B156HW01 will work in T530, it's just that the V.4 and V.7 are the exceptional Gamut characteristic screens.

That is a question of preference, I like Matte, so V.4 (V.7 is Gloss finish)

    Hello LSB,
I am a newbie to this website so I don't have access to PM you at this moment.

I bought a laptop screen for the first time from your website, but was not happy with my experience. Before I post my bad experience at this website, would you please look at my ticket number 150383 and let me know if anything else can be done? I really need the exact one that I ordered. Please contact me through my personal email address attached to the ticket.

    Thanks!

I have a T530 with the FDH screen saved to order at Lenovo. What screen is Lenovo using now on a factory order? I would want a matte finish so that would be a V4 that is no longer available? I could be misinterpeting this, but nice reading.

Lenovo presumably ordered an enormous supply of them when they were manufactured, so they have them to place in new systems. It's the smaller screen retailers that have a limited supply, not Lenovo.
