    Hi All:

I have a Lenovo T400 with a cracked Samsung LCD screen. The information off the back is:

    P/N 42T0503
    FRU 42T0504

and the Samsung P/N (I think) is: LTN141Bt04

I am having a very hard time finding a company online that has this model in stock. Are they still making these panels? Is there another compatible part, short of purchasing a very expensive LCD from Lenovo directly that I can use? Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks.

You're finding out the downsides of notebook ownership. Since the parts are highly specialized, there's very few sources for them, other than the manufacturer. You could try eBay. I did see this, but I don't know if the seller is any good or not.

Ebay is one option. ScreenTek is another.

Screentek may cost more, but you get service you won't get from Ebay. If you aren't as technically adept, this is your best option. If you're fairly technical, Ebay may be the better choice.

Hey Zaz, I'm pretty sure you can, but do you know if the LED WXGA+ screen is a drop-in for the CCFL one?

Thanks for the info. I'd have bought the LED WXGA+ screen, but it wasn't available in the US at the time of my purchase. Figured when the warranty was up I might try the swap, so it's goot to know.
