    I have a T520 with Win 7 Home Edition. There is no sticker or anything on the body, and there is no info in any of the papers that came with it. If i were to dl a copy of win 7 HE, and install it, where could i find the SN?

    Assuming that you mean the Windows key, have a look under the battery.

    As John has stated, new laptops have the COA underneath the battery to prevent it from being rubbed off.
