My T61 is out of warranty. One of the touchpad buttons (the button under the touchpad, not above) is loosening and sometimes falls partially off (still connected at one end). Does anyone know where I can get replacement button? I couldn't find info on Lenovo web site.

    Thanks for help!

You'll probably need to get a new palm rest. If you're looking for one on the cheap, I'd post over on ThinkPads.com. You might be able to find one there for less than elsewhere. They have different part numbers depending on the size, whether it's got the fingerprint reader, etc.

Thanks. What's a reasonable price for palm rest without fingerprint? $$ or $$$ ?

I don't know where to get a new one, but I had the same problem with one of the buttons and I openned the thing up; then glued the buttom of the button to the small metal thingy that holds it in position. This stopped it from falling off and stopped the right side of the button sticking to the top when pressed on the left side of the left button; I hope you understad :/
It's been a year since I did this, no problems yet!
