My new ThinkPad R61 seems to have two DVD viewing and burning software packages installed, InterVideo WinDVD and Sonic's RecordNow. For the sake of minimal bloat, I'd like to keep only one of them. Which do you use?

    TIA, ~john

i agree w/ vlc, great program and is freeware

for iso/images and or dual layer dvd use ImgBurn, also freeware

actually, on my xp side, I still like nero 6, no bloat like 7 & 8. if you need a link since it's an older version, just let me know....
