    Hi...

We are shopping for a second laptop. We already have an Apple we love but we need a Win PC for a spouse who needs to connect to the office and we had a hard time doing it with the Apple. We are thinking about a Lenovo, and only need it for this one purpose ...of working from home and connecting to the server at the office. I see what specs seem most recommended, like getting a T61 15" laptop w a Dual 2 Core processor and 2GB Ram and 160GB Hard Drive. If I configure it that way it is pretty expensive. With their current sale, the T61 is cheaper than the R61 14", so I can't save any money that way. We always want at least 3 yrs of tech support and warranty so that adds another couple of hundred dollars. It's looking like the best we can do on their site is about $1,000. ?? Guessing.

Anyone have any insight or recommendations about whether I am going about this the right way or am I missing something?

    Thanks...
