I don't see anything there that is worth reinstalling.
I just reinstall ThinkVantage's Power Manager after a clean install. -
Just wondering... what do the above applications do?

thinkvantage active protection
thinkvantage power manager
and thinkvantage access connections.
and all the rest???? uninstall

that application it's the 1st popup windows when 1st time u boot your vista. the one that show u about new feature and vista. also offering something about lenovo accesories. not to mention all the lenovo default wallpaper. -
Quick Question, I thought I read somewhere that you can now choose which programs you want to install when you do a system restore. So this true? or do you have to let everything install then start uninstalling?

That is true. Hit the blue ThinkVantage button at startup to do a recovery, Choose the option for "custom install" and follow the prompts.

I use easy eject, fingerprint reader and rescue and recovery. I actually like R&R better then Vista's version.
What is power manager all about??? -
Power Manager is the battery icon you get to the left of your system tray. It allows you to manage charge thresholds as well as set profiles for different configuration of power according to what you want. Very handy.
