    I'd go with a 7200 RPM drive from Seagate or Hitachi. Whatever size you are happy with for your budget. The performance between the two is nothing you'd be able to notice and benchmarks show that Seagate does better in some areas while the hitachi does better in other areas.

    Why didn't you just order it with a 7200 RPM drive? Seems like the savings is minimal considering the time you will invest installing the drive and installing the OS and drivers etc...
