This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Every new xx20x ThinkPad, besides X120e, should have Sandy Bridge CPU's, at least those, that have been announced E420/s, E520, E220s, X220/t, T420/520/420s will be Sandy Bridge.

    the upcoming thinkpads will be, but due to the intel chipset issues, the release dates are pushed back to address these issues.
