Which ThinkVantage software utility is non-essential and you would avoid at all cost? Does anyone not use the ThinkVantage blue button at all? Thanks!

Take a look at the ThinkVantage Software Guide. Read the descriptions of each software and see if you have any use for it.

I did a clean install to remove all those 80 something processes. After installing all the TV stuff, I was right back to 80 something again. So I started over. Now The only thinkvantage item I use is the fingerprint software and I have 50 something processes. I let windows handle everything else and it seems to do it well enough. If I encounter some problems I will reconsider the corresponding peice of tv software again. The more software you load, the more goes on in the background.

I'm using System Update, FPR (I don't know why, I see little real benefit, it's new
) and the APS and the Power Manager thing. On a clean XP install, she's a speedy lil' bat she is.

Do you guys like the Productivity Center suite at all? I find it doesn't add much value since you can use Windows for most of that stuff but then I hate it when I hit the TV blue button and nothing happens.
Which ThinkVantage software is non-essential and a resource hog?
