Which Thinkpad Ultranav USB Keyboard is this?
40K9400
SK-8845 RC
I bought one online. It works decently, except its Function key does not work and it wont get recognized as the correct device and thereby show me the 'USB Ultranav' Tab in my Mouse Options to allow me to configure it. (i.e. With the Lenovo Drivers. Also, lot of online search and I cant find any drivers for it on IBM's site as well.. or Lenovos).
Are these models actually different or is the given part number simply a "business unit" difference.
Its IBM, not Lenovo and is made in 2010 (Lenovo ended it??). I did find the model present as Options for IBM Server machines / models.
Is there some way to have it detect as and use the last working Lenovo drivers for USB Ultranav?

this product should have been discontinued sometimes ago.

Should or was?
An IBM logo, and a date of 2010 has me wondering if it's a fake label. -
My IBM keyboard looks the same as yours, but the part number is 02R0430.
I did some searching for 40K9400
There is some mention of it here but there isn't any drivers that I could find.
You could try the drivers for my keyboard from here
This here is a link show a couple different keyboards. You could try a couple different drivers.
Lenovo aslo has a help forum on their lenovo.com site. You could try posting you question there.

I'm not sure which model that is but i'm envious. I just bought a SIIG keyboard that looks similar, except it doesn't have the trackpoint. It was $60--$40 cheaper than I found those ultranav keyboards for.

I so wish there was a wireless keyboard with a trackpoint. For home, for work, for HTPC, for everywhere... That's my get-rich-slow idea if Lenovo would license the patent to me
