Guess I have decided on getting a IBM R51.
    Which would you suggest

    2883ARU 1215.05
1.5 Cent (715)256/ intel extreme graphics up to 64

    18836BAU 1329.05
    1.5 Cent (705) 256/ 7500 32mb video

    1836H7U 1329.05
    1.5 Cent (715) 256/ 7500 32mb video

(spec wise im not sure if there is any other difference in the last two, let me know)

ARU would get more ram to help out with video, which would add 53.00 (crucial ram) to laptop.

Im Guessing if i get the BAU or H7U i would probably not need the extra ram?

    No takers huh..

I guess Im going to go for the ARU model with integrated graphics.

    Plan on using it for
    Office apps
    Word
    Excel
Microsoft publisher or other if i find one that i like better
    Internet surfing
    Database creation and use.
    Website creation and updates
    No Gaming

Do you guys think that this model will be OK, with its intergrated graphics for what I want to do?

    Thanks for the help.

also im going to up the ram to 512 total, is the ram from crucial compatiable with the orginial 256 included or should I spend the extra and get it from ibm to be safe

For your needs, it would do fine.
However, I would go with the last option... I think the difference between the second and last one is that the second one is NOT a Dothan CPU, therefore it only has 1 MB L2cache, whereas the last one has 2MB of L2 cache.
But if you want to save some money... then the first choice is still great for your needs.

ASUS M6800Ne, P-M 1.5 Dothan, 512MB Ram, ASUS Combo drive, Samsung Spinpoint M 40G HDD with 8M cache, Mobility Radeon 9700
