All of the x200 Tablets have very good screens.

The particular model you found has the non-multitouch screen that the particular review refers to. It is an exceedingly bright (400 nit) "outdoor viewable" LED panel. It is of an anti-glare glossy style (best of both worlds).

The knock against the otherwise great touch panels is slightly increased grain due to the extra touch layer.

I have the older 285-nit LED SuperBright display that is also fantastic.

How would one purchase that tablet, as reviewed (the one with the superbright screen but no touch)?

Woops, I wasn't very clear -I want the exact machine reviewed. lenovo.com doesn't sell the sl9600 at all and absolutely none of the resellers seem to tell me which model has the daylight readable 400nit screen.

Really, I just want to buy this exact computer (Copied from the review) ->

Use the tabook to find the model you want, then find a reseller who's selling it.

Ah, thanks so much, perfect! I was able to find the model numbers that match the specs I'm looking for. However, finding any them at a reseller looks to be more challenging :(

don't kill yourself over trying to find an SL9600.   my X200T has one and it doesn't benchmark much better than the L7700 in my X61s.   unless you're trying to calculate pi to the millionth position on a daily basis, worry about the other specs of the system first. ;)

Hmm, well i have considered dropping to the sl9400 and going through lenovo CTO for the best price. But they force you to buy the 4 cell and then purchase the 8 cell for an additional 150 bucks. I don't want two batteries. I'm starting to feel like lenovo doesn't want my business at all.

I too can't find the 2.13 on the lenovo site, but they're floating out there with resellers. Any luck getting the 2.13 with the sunbright outdoor display (whatever you call it)? Message me if you do.

So, does all X200 tablets have the IPS screen, or only some? What about the non-tablet x200?

why is it that all sellers on ebay are selling enhanced multi-touch and no one sell outdoor viewable?
