I cant decide which card works best for readyboost. I heard that the readyboost actually works better depending on how much memory is in your pc and how it works in unison when using the readyboost. I have 2gig (1x1) ram and wanted to know if its better to get a 2 gig or 4 gig card?![]()

Doesn't really matter. With 2 GB of RAM, the effects of Readyboost are going to be hard to notice.

Eh doesn't matter, I have 4GB SDHC on my laptop and it runs a few things quicker and stops some caching to the hard drive. Try it and see for yourself but 2GB should be sufficient.

I have a similar 2GB setup and have had great ReadyBoost results with a 2GB Sandisk Ultra II SD card. Some of the cheaper sd cards with slower transfer rates also will work, but Sandisk Ultra II has been a winner for me.
I got one on Black Friday from OfficeMax for $12.99.
If you have a camera that uses a flash type that also qualifies for readyboost, you might choose that so that in a pinch you can swap into your camera.
Which card to use for ReadyBoost?
