Looking for a good screen laptop with no light leakage or no noticible light leakage, ie purblack screen is pure black, no leakage from the bottom of the screen or anywhere else, how are ibm screens

IBM screens are generally good matte screens... they aren't the brightest screens out there, but definitely usable.
Their FlexView screens are probably the best matte screens in the market right now... great viewing angles. They're only available on the higher end Thinkpad models though.

FlexView screens are on the 15" SXGA and UXGA models.

Is flex view anything other than viewing angle?

Eventually the Z60m is going to have what they're dubbing a MaxBright screen with 33% extra brightness via the backlight (300 nit versus 200 nit normal). That'll be an option on WXGA Z60m machines, as far as availability goes on that is anybody's guess.
