    I have a 15.4" R61.
The screen (Samsung) has a slight pressure mark right in the middle and I'd like to replace it with an LG one.

However, service manual mentions two different LG-Philips models as possible WSXGA+ replacements:
    13N7020
    42T0423

I any of them batter than the other? My Samsung's PN is 42T0329 and so similar to the later LG PN. Does it mean that the other LF is a newer part and hence improved? Should I go for it?

Or perhaps there is some better unofficial replacement option all together?

I think it's generally regarded the LG screens are better than the Samsungs.
