The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

Yeah, it's annoying. But that's the north-american way. Everything is on sale, always. Consider it "release sale", later comes "spring sale", "holiday sale", "summer sale", "birthday sale", "good-weather-sale", "grannys anniversary sale", whatever. And if there are no sales, you have coupons or some other form of rebate or discount.

sale is the incentive for you to spend your money to buy the laptop.... this is a common practice for all these computer companies...... its like the never ending closing down sale....
