    Hey everyone,

On the Thinkpad sticky in this forum, it says that when ordering a Thinkpad, you should convert your order to a price quote and present it to a customer service rep, rather than just place the order online. Why is this?

Also, if you generated your price quote when there was a special offer, and the offer expires, can you then still get the price on the price quote?

    Thanks in advance.

Sometimes sales reps can be more flexible and give you better offers on the phone if you haggle. I believe it's commission based, they get bonuses for any sales they make as a rep so that means better prices for you as a customer in the end. I know with Dell you can do this to get better prices so I don't see Lenovo being any different.
