    Why do some T61's say IBM and others not?

    I have seen some pics of T61 with the "IBM" logo on the bottom and others that just say "Thinkpad". Why is that? I thought with the T61 Lenovo got rid of the IBM?

    The ThinkPads that have the IBM logo were ordered last year.

    New Thinkpad T61 received 2/5/2008 has "ThinkPad" only logo at lower right of palm rest.

    Oh, let me check. ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

    Oops, went into hibernate. ;^)

    But there is a "ThinkPad" logo at bottom right of lid. It might say "Leveno" below that but almost black on black (hard to recognize)

    Oh, yeah. Lenovo decided to stop using the IBM logo because they had enough support and trust, they said.

    So somewhere along the way in the middle of the "T" series line, they removed the IBM logo?
