    they don't have it first.. a lot of companies have it "first"... from my experience.. asus usually gets the stuff "really" first lol

    Acer and Sony are typically way ahead of Lenovo. I think Lenovo has tried to make their Thinkpads more "consumer" friendly and so they are getting better at early adoption of new features and components, but in the process they have also introduced consumer problems that the business models never had.

    No, he's got a point. Thinkpads have always been known to be the last one on the block making products with new technology.

    The trade-off was always a SOLID machine but not the newest technology. Looks like times are a changin... i love it. =)
