    Does yours?

The trackpoint settings tab and its help file (under control panel > mouse > trackpoint) seem to indicate that the trackpoint should scroll horizontally.

If mine does do horizontal scrolling, I have yet to find an application where it works... (not on this website, for example)

You need to install the UltraNav Driver and Utility.

I've installed both and it doesn't work for me either.

I stumbled upon the answer. Go to Control Panel > Mouse > Trackpoint > Settings (under "Choose scrolling or magnifying glass function"). Switch from "Standard" to "Smooth", apply the settings, and you should be able to horizontal scroll. The scrolling icon and the function of the center button for scrolling are just slightly different, but it works and I've already gotten used to it.
