I placed an order for a T400. I received an order confirmation for one T400.
I now have shipping confirmations for TWO orders for an identically configured T400, with two different order numbers and invoice numbers.
I never received an order confirmation for more than one order, and know I didn't double-click an order button. I'm now on hold with Lenovo Sales, getting transferred to the right location.
I hope this isn't too much of a pain in the rear to work out. (quiet grumble)

Was your credit card charged twice?

That's interesting...
They could theoretically have credit holds (test charges) for both, but your credit card company can just refuse one of them too if you want. Worse case they ship both and you just refuse delivery of one. -
I won't be able to refuse, since I shipped to work, and someone will sign for it before I can get to it.
However, I did get ahold of someone at sales, who has made a note of it in my file. Once I get both laptops, I call them again, they'll ship me prepaid return labels, and I return it unopened, with no restocking fee. I also have the direct extension of the customer service rep.
It was really odd though, since I only got one order # for confirmation. This second order # only showed up at shipping time (and they confirmed, two laptops did ship). -
sometimes they give you two order numbers at ship if you ordered like a mouse accessory.
but if they say that two laptops did, in fact, ship, then yea. -
As I was reading, this came to mind.
But as you said, you will contact Lenovo and have them send shipping labels.
Why is this so difficult?
