Anyone know why you cannot add additional warranty options to the X301?

Because the Lenovo web-desogn bozos take several days or weeks to get their website fully functional each time they add a new product.

When the X200 was first posted on their ordering site it took over a week to get the extended warranty ordering on it. I called Lenovo 800-sales number and was told that you could order the extended warranty by phone.

The extended warranty eventually showed up, then disappeared for a few days and then reappeared.

I just checked and the extended warranty for the X301 isnt there yet.

When I called Lenovo sales on Monday asking about the cost of an extended warranty for an X200 if I bought it from a reseller I was quoted $249 for the 3-yr on-site warranty with accident protection It is listed as $261 on the website.

Just to make my last post clear: I was talking about buying the X200 from a reseller and then getting the warranty upgrade from Lenovo directly over the phone.
