Is there a reason why the T60 comes standard with a 3-year warranty but the z60t only gets a 1-year?

    -A

BTW, after much debate on whether to purchase a z60t or a T60 I finally ordered the z60t off Lenovo's website a couple of days ago. Let's hope it arrives quicker than the 8-12 weeks a Lenovo salesguy quoted me. And I *PRAY* it includes the 1440x900 screen that's listed in the specs and not the 1280x768 listed on the web.

It's actually z61t and yes the resolution is 1400x900.

I ordered the z61t too and the estimated shipping date is Jun 8th. But after talking to a customer rep today I found that I should be shipping out today or tomorrow. I am just hoping it to arrive before Jun7th since I would be gone for a week....

Click here for z61t 9440-2CU specs.

And both T60, Z60/61 come with 1 yr or 3 yrs warranty. You can also add extended warranty during the laptop customization. Check out the tabook here for the warranty information.

    Hope it helps :)

If I recall correctly, the offerings of "warranties" was a confusing collage of sentences I don't have a salesman's degree in deciphering.
