    Why so long to ship my T61?

    I ordered one Saturday and the estimated ship date is 5/13. Usually when shipping is estimated, it's too conservative and usually takes even longer.

    It doesn't tell me which part is holding everything up.

    it's usually the opposite with lenovo. i ordered my t61 on 4/20, the estimate was 5/8, i received it on 4/25. take a look at this thread to see how long other people's t61's took to ship.

    You will most likely get it withen 10-15 days give them a call and see if they are waiting on parts

    Hi,
    Don't take the estimated shipping date as a fixed date.
    I ordered mine on 4/15, the ETA was 5/2 and it shipped on 4/18.
    So just look out for that email that says your Thinkpad is on the way!

    Ordered mine 4/20 (estimated ship date 5/6), left Lenovo 4/23, UPS Shipped from China on 4/24, in Kentucky as of 1 EST on 4/29, estimated delivery in North Carolina 5/1..... 11 days to build and ship all the way across the globe, not bad. I wouldnt worry about your estimated dated
