    I thought lenovo makes all the lappy in China. :D

    Well, it's probably shipped from a warehouse, not from the manufacturer directly...

    Yes, just because Lenovo's laptops originate from China does not mean that they always have to supply them directly from their manufactures if they are common consumer configs.

    Most of the pre-configured laptops are already stored in the U.S. (what most other OEMs do as well) for faster shipping. Only with the fully-customizeable laptops do they have to build and ship out from China.

    In any case, that's a good thing for you, not a bad thing!
