My apologies in advance if this is a repeat thread (you guys seem to get pretty worked up over these things)

I've noted that several people stated that the thinkpad branded wifi card is better than the intel for the t60.

Due to an error in my order and rebooking issues (which were resolved) I have two t61s and will be returning one shortly. One with the intel N card and the other with the thinkpad branded A/B/G/N.

The thinkpad branded card gets roughly 20% better reception. (even with the intel card at “full power”)

Just wanted to confirm this for anybody who wanted to know if the same holds true with the t60 vs t61

I have some crappy pics via my cell phone if anybody can give me a spot to upload them

The Thinkpad one is Atheros based, and has always been quite better reception wise over the Intel offerings. Holds true with my T60 and other laptops.

My Intel 4965AGN works great. Far better than the wireless card on my last dell.
