I'm having an issue with my wifi. Sometimes it just turns off on me, the little light goes out and i'm virtually disconnected to the internet. It's weird because when it cuts off, the sys tray network icon says that i'm connected with limited access even though nothing works. repairing the connection doesn't work and the option to turn the wifi on/off in the think vantage software still thinks the wifi card is on.
I believed the problem to be the access connections software that came with it, but after uninstalling it, I encountered the issue again.
Anyone else with this issue? It's really getting on my nerves

I'm guessing the reason you didn't get any replies is because problems similar to this have been discussed in multiple threads, and recently, too.

the search tool is your friend

Then the least you could do is to give him referenrces.

that would have me doing the search for him, and on top of that, copying the links.

and as far as telling me what to do, why didn't you do it?

Well thats easy. I've been hit by a car. My dog was killed. Im in the hospital since July 4th. This hospital computer doesn't seem to have many of the nicities that mine does.

    sorry about your troubles
but that has nothing to do with what I said

besides, following your line of reasoning, I am being punished for not ignoring the triplicate thread (there are already two that have been active in the past 2-3 days reg. the same topic)

    hope you get well soon

    :)

I disagree. My dog would disagree if it were alive. The police are still holding the man so they disagree. Many people would disagree with you.

    I don't follow you.
I also have nothing to do with what happened to you or your dog.
This thread is taking an ugly turn.
I've already said what I think needs to be said.

I have an R61e that was working fine. One day I decided to enable the updates (I run zone alarm and I generally prevent any software from accessing the internet). It updated the BIOS and a lot of software packages. After that the wireless connection dropped constantly. I uninstalled the access connections software and it still had problems maintaining a connection. So I saved my files and reloaded the operating system from the partition to the factory delivered state, removed the access connections software and it has been rock solid ever since. Good luck.
