Im having issues with my Wifi, random disconnects, and when i boot up the pc, i need to wait an extra 10 seconds for the Wifi to autoconnect to my network.

Dont blame my network for this, i have another older pc and everything works fine.

I am using the Intel Centrino Wireless-N 2230 with my Y410P.

How do i solve these issues? I downloaded the latest drivers and it didnt solve anything.

the 2230 is junk. get a modded bios and get an intel 6230/6235 or ac-7260. I couldn't for the life of me get a good solid connection to my network with the 2230, I'm using a 6235 now and life is good.

Which router do you have? I have a Netgear N600 and just like you other laptops and devices were working without drops. I changed a setting on it and now my wifi works on the Y510p. Hopefully stays that way. If you have the same router i'll tell you what i did

So the solution is get a new wireless card and then unlock the Bios?

Can i swap in my old Dell wireless 1395 card? Its a wireless G card but it gets the job done.

Is this still the only fix? I can't have bluetooth and wifi on at the same time?
