    Will 6 cell batt stick out back on T61??

    Hi..I ordered Lenovo T61 recently...with followng config

    INTEL CORE2DUO PROC.T9300
    MICROSOFT WINXP PROFESSION

    Is any ordered similar config, if so let me know your experience and Will it extend beyond the back of laptop.

    Nope only the 9-celll sticks out but it isn't bad if you need battery life get the 9-cell.

    Doesn't stick out on my T61... Same specs as yours but I've got the 14" standard aspect screen (SXGA+). Really nice machine. Fast and quiet!

    Thank you for reply....and one more question that i didn't find the version of bluetooth pan and how about built-in-camara ...I mean how much megapixels...Do you have any idea??

    it will stick out if you got a widescreen t61... the only battery that will fit flush in the widescreen t61 is the 4 cell.

    Yes I ordered for 14.1" wide screen..Thanks for the information..Any idea about version of bluetooth pan and camara resolution? and do you have any idea will it look odd with 6 cell batt???

    I've got a 15.4 inch widescreen T61 with the 6 cell battery (there was no optiom for a 4 cell) and it is flush with the back of the computer.

    T61 14.1" widescreen is special. Like Joey said, 4 cell will sit flush but 6 or 9 cell batter will stick out.

    15.4" widescreen or standard aspect ratio models only 9 cell battery will stick out.

    Yeah - the battery sticks out an inch - aesthetically its no problem really. Have to bear that in mind when you want to pack it into a sleeve/bag.
