For the last couple of weeks I've been visiting the Canadian Lenovo website looking to purchase an X series laptop. They have been advertising the 33% off for a while now, until today I noticed certain X series notebooks are 39% off.
For the X300 this makes a big difference.
From: $3,465.00
Sale price: $2,598.75
Price after ecoupon: $2,104.99
You save: 39%
So my question is, will I get a better deal if I wait? Historically has Lenovo had blowout sales to update products?
Is this a good deal?
Do you think Lenovo will make a 12 inch ultraportable with a DVD drive within the next 10 months?
Does getting a 6 cell battery make the laptop thicker?
I have five days to decide but I'd love to get some insight from some lenovo users. I've heard good things about lenovo so I am definatly leaning towards them.

the 6 cell battery makes the laptop a tiny bit thicker , but not much, and you can get a price quote if you want to wait a little longer...
-
Just in general I haven't seen them go much past 40% off on the new/high end specs, but who knows maybe they will they will toss in another 5%. Don't forget that you might be able to grab another 5% off with the live.com cashback if that helps your decision at all.

I havent use that but from other peoples responses its legit and works out great. -
Getting a price quote would be your best option. It allows you to wait a bit to see if there are any new deals.

What is a price quote and how do I go about getting one?
Anyways, thankyou for the help. I'm new to how Lenovo does business so I really appreciate it. -
you go throu the eniter order, click lenovo checkout, and on the page where you fill in your credit card(DO NOT FILL THIS IN!!!!) you click get price quote on the bottom
-
How long is the price quote good for?
-
Price Quote is good for 30 days.
-
The price quote is not working for me , I do all the steps but I don't get any email. Is there other to do it? I want to order the T400 tuesday depending on the apple announcement.
-
You just copy the order number/customer number, you dont get an email
-
When you ready to buy , how do you do that with the price quote?
-
I never tried, but IMO you call up lenovo, or start a chat with them
Will I get a better deal than this?
