    Does anyone know if Lenovo will release a T61 with a 4:3 aspect ratio SXGA+ (1400 x 1050)?

    They're product page here:

    http://shop.lenovo.com/SEUILibrary/controller/catalog.workflow:category.details?current-catalog-id=12F0696583E04D86B9B79B0FEC01C087&current-category-id=19C791A03AF24034A0011B825513BCED

...shows the 14.1" standard display option is marked as not available as opposed to marking it with select models. Does anyone have any information on whether or not they plan to release non-widescreen T61's?

Rumor says it will be released within the next few weeks. A forum member purchased one already off of his alumni site, but returned it, use the forum search...

These are already available to corporate CTO orders. EVen if lenovo doesn't sell them directly to consumers, they will eventually show up lower down in the food chain (eg., resellers who buy excess CTO orders from the corps).
